We add a 2" cuff to the bottom of the chap that is glued in place. Later when your child grows the cuff can be pulled down. If the full 2" is not needed, the cuff can be refolded an glued with contact cement. No need to send them to me, you can do this on your own. Just be sure to be conservative if you reglue so that you can pull apart the cuff in the future.
Please keep in mind that there will be a crease where the chap had been folded.
The zipper along the back side of the leg can be set in so the chap can be let out about 1" along the leg without changing the look of the chap. Later, if more space is needed, the other side of the zipper can be moved(this will show stitching holes on the detail side of the chap) or a panel can be added to the back side of the leg. The chap will have to be sent to a seamstress(or back to me) for this alteration. For overseas customers, I can send a matching piece of leather if you chose to have them altered locally.
